Distribution: Africa, Australia, China, Indian Ocean, Java, Lesser Sunda Isls, Madagascar, Moluccas, New Caledonia, New Guinea, Pacific Ocean, Taiwan, Vietnam. BORACAY, LUZON: La Union (photos), PALAWAN, PANAY. Notes: Naturalized in waste places and along the seashore and on beaches. Naturalized.
