Distribution: India to China and Taiwan, Malesia, Pacific Ocean, Pakistan. BATAN, BOHOL, CALAYAN, CEBU, LUBANG, LUZON: Albay, Aurora, Benguet, Cagayan (photos), Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Isabela, La Union, Laguna, Mountain Province, NCR, Nueva Vizcaya, Pampanga, Quezon, Rizal, Sorsogon, Zambales, MINDANAO: Bukidnon, Cotabato, Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur, Misamis Occidental, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, MINDORO, NEGROS, PALAWAN, PANAY. Notes: Luzon to Palawan and Mindanao. In thickets, recent slides, open places, etc., chiefly at medium elevation, sometimes at sea level, ascending to 2000m. Native.
