- Nymphoides cristata (Roxb.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen. Pl. 2 (1891) 429; ≡ Limnanthemum cristatum (Roxb.) Griseb., Gen. Sp. Gent. (1839) 342; Merr., EPFP 3 (1923) 319; ≡ Menyanthes cristata Roxb., Pl. Coromandel 2(1) (1799) 3. Distribution: China, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan. LUZON: Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Laguna, Mountain Province, Rizal, Zambales. Notes: Low and medium elevation shallow lakes, quiet streams, and sometimes in rice paddies. On Mt Data ascending to 2100m. Note by P.B. Pelser (3-Jan-20): Also considered a synonym of Nymphoides hydrophylla (Lour.) Kuntze, but kept separate here awaiting further study. Native.

BOHOL, LUZON: Benguet, Cagayan, Laguna, Rizal, MINDANAO, MINDORO. Notes: Low and medium elevation shallow lakes and quiet streams, ascending to 1500m. Native.
