Males. ser. 1, 7 (1971) 262. Distribution: Borneo, Java, New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Isls, Sulawesi, Sumatra. CAMIGUIN, LUZON: Albay, Apayao (photos), Benguet, Ifugao, Laguna, Mountain Province, Nueva Vizcaya, Pangasinan, Quezon, MINDANAO: Bukidnon, Cotabato (photos), NEGROS. Notes: Along streams, seepage slopes and damp ridges, mostly on open or semi-shaded sites in disturbed habitats, colonizing bare lands, often gregarious. (750-)1000-3000m. Native.
