  1. Sarcococca philippinensis Stapf ex Sealy, Hooker's Icon. Pl. 35 (1947) t. 3471; Type: Loher 4645, Philippines. = Sarcococca saligna auct. non Müll.Arg.; Merr., EPFP 2 (1923) 465. Distribution: Endemic to the Philippines. LUZON: Benguet, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Nueva Vizcaya. Notes: Mossy forests, c. 2000-2700m. The name Sarcococca saligna is been misapplied to Sarcococca philippinensis in some resources (e.g., Hassler 2019). Native.
