  1. Embolanthera spicata Merr., PJS 4 c (1909) Bot. 263; EPFP 2 (1923) 225; --Vink, Fl. Males. ser. 1, 5 (1957) 368, Fig. 3; --Type: BS 739 Foxworthy (L, US, iso), Palawan: Mt Victoria. Endemic to the Philippines. PALAWAN: Mt Victoria. Along rocky riverbanks and in forests, 50-250m. Thus far known from five collections from the type locality and from nearby Estrella Falls in Narra. Conservation status: Endangered (DAO 2017-11).
